Come and celebrate Māori Language Week in the library
Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori kicks off on September 11th. This year's theme remains focused on empowering Te Reo Māori - strengthening the language.
We're excited to offer some enjoyable activities during the breaks next week to encourage you to celebrate Te Reo Māori. Starting from Monday and running through Friday, we'll be engaging in the art of weaving harakeke putiputi, creating exquisite flax flowers. Additionally, from Tuesday's lunchtime onwards, we have the privilege of having Paola Hapeta, a highly skilled member of our school community, who has generously volunteered her time and expertise to guide us in making poi. So let's embrace this opportunity and celebrate Te Reo Māori together. Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori!
