Special Character Reflection

St Augustine, as a young adolescent was rebellious and lived a life of partying and many “female acquaintances”. After his mother Monica converted to Christianity, for nearly 20 years she prayed and fasted for Augustine’s conversion. His mother’s prayerful perseverance finally converted him to Christianity at the tender age of 31 years old.

Augustine chose to live a celebate life and devote himself to God. He became a very known theologian and philosopher and his thinking impacted western Christianity with him becoming one of the greatest early Church Fathers in history. He eventually was elevated to Bishop of Hippo, North Africa, 5th Century.

God has an intention for our world that involves a special plan for each and every one of us. There are people praying for you to activate a special part of your faith life. All you have to do is listen to the voice of God in your heart.
